Marketing Manager

For our client, a rapidly growing and innovative pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team. This role requires a blend of strategic and operational work to drive marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be analytical, flexible, and a strong team player and team manager.


 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Strategy Development:

Ø  Implement corporate brand strategy and communication campaigns.

Ø  Contribute to the company’s results by aligning marketing strategies with local and corporate goals.

Ø  Analyse market research to identify local needs and generate new business opportunities.

Ø  Provide corporate marketing with local market input to ensure effective bilateral communication.

 

·        Operational Management:

Ø  Lead the operational brand plan, including competitive analysis, segmentation, targeting, congresses, promotions, and consumer campaigns.

Ø  Manage local brand portfolio, including daily sales tracking.

Ø  Oversee the affiliate marketing budget and lead digital campaigns.

Ø  Ensure effective sales force promotional activities, including training and sales materials.

 

·        Team Collaboration:

Ø  Work closely with internal teams, including corporate marketing, sales force, R&D, and regulatory affairs.

Ø  Engage with external contacts, such as doctors, pharmacists, opinion leaders, suppliers, agencies, and associations.

 

·        Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

Ø  Challenge the status quo by pursuing cost-saving measures and value-added proposals.

Ø  Tailor the product mix to meet local needs and market demands.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·        Education:

Ø  Academic Master’s degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Communication Sciences, … or equivalent by experience.

 

 

·        Experience:

Ø  Minimum of 10 years as a Marketing Manager or Brand Manager in a pharmaceutical company.

Ø  Experience working with health professionals and various company areas, including R&D, marketing, sales network, finance, regulatory and supply.

 

 

 

·        Skills:

Ø  Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Ø  Excellent flexibility and adaptability to changing environments.

Ø  Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Ø  Proven leadership and proactive approach to tasks.

Ø  Strong communication skills and a holistic vision of business operations.

Ø  Financial acumen and numbers-oriented mindset.

Ø  Bilingual proficiency in French and Dutch, knowledge of English is advantageous.
